Located in a scenic vineyard, this small hotel offers a relaxing experience with comfortable rooms, informative tours, and delicious meals. Conveniently situated between Santiago and Valparaiso, it's worth the detour.

Private and quiet location, lovely and spacious rooms, excellent service from friendly staff, mind-blowing wines from the winery tour and tasting, beautiful grounds with dedicated gardeners, super buffet breakfast with plenty of options.

Food was mind-blowing, Roberto's service was top-notch with his humor and nice smile. Wines were superb. The hotel had free wi-fi, parking, flat-screen TV, business center, billiard tables. The property and vineyard tour were informative and the biodynamic approach impressive.

I chose La Casona at Matetic Vineyards Guest House because I wanted to visit Puro Caballo. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the wine tasting experience. The quirky wine cellar shaped like a barrel was fascinating, and learning about the organic and biodynamic process used at the vineyard was educational. Sampling various wines from the premium EQ range was a delightful experience. the Rosario Valley lamb cooked in syrah wine and the cheesecake using local goat cheese and syrah ice cream were mouthwatering. The extensive selection of glasses to pair each dish with a Matetic wine was impressive. the option to order specialties at the on-site restaurant and enjoy a glass of local wine added to the overall enjoyment. The hotel also offers a free grocery shopping service and a daily manager's reception, which were unexpected bonuses.

If only dinner/breakfast were served in the beautiful restaurant located at their pond, it would have been perfect.

I recently stayed at La Casona at Matetic Vineyards for a few days and had a fantastic time. Set in the beautiful Matetic vineyard in Casablanca Valley, the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The dinner and breakfast, although served in the wine shop, were delicious with a great selection of food and wine. The highlight was the vineyard tour, led by a knowledgeable guide, where I learned about their biodynamic production methods. The pool area was also a lovely spot to soak up the sunshine.
